Who is someone in your life that you can count on to help you out and encourage you when you need it? That kind of support is exactly what Romans 15:2 calls us to do to others. It’s easy to focus on our own lives, but we’re also called to help others do what’s right and build them up in their faith. Whether it’s offering advice, being there when they need encouragement, or simply leading by example, we can all play a part in lifting others up. When we help others grow in the Lord, we also grow ourselves.
Today, look for a way to help someone or simply encourage them. Ask them, “How can I be cheering you on in life?
