Have you ever been hurt by someone and found it hard to let go? It’s tough, right? Today, we’re reminded that forgiveness isn’t just about letting someone off the hook—it’s about freeing ourselves from anger and bitterness. We’ve all made bad choices, and yet God forgives us every time. When we remember how much He’s forgiven us, it becomes easier to extend that same grace to others, even when it’s hard. Forgiveness doesn’t mean we forget, doesn’t mean we let them cause harm again but it allows healing to begin and helps us move forward. It’s a powerful way to reflect God’s love in our lives.
Today, pray about what you think real forgiveness might look like, for others that may have caused harm and for yourself when you are seeking forgiveness.
