Psalm 101 - Curating Our AttentionSample

Day 2: The Integrity Project
"I will be careful to lead a blameless life—when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart." (Psalm 101:2, NIV)
David's asking the right question: "When will you come to me?" (Psalm 101:2, NIV) He knows that integrity isn't a solo project. It requires God's presence and power.
Notice he starts with his house, his private life. Character forms here, where the stakes feel lower but the truth runs deeper. Anyone can look good in public for a few hours. But how do you treat your family when you're tired? How do you handle money when no one's watching? What do you do with anger when you're behind closed doors?
Integrity means consistency: the same person in public and private, at work and at home, online and offline.
TODAY: Pick one area of your private life where you want to grow in integrity. Take one small step toward alignment today.
GO DEEPER: Ask someone who sees you at home to tell you one way you could be more consistent between your public and private character.
PRAYER: God, come to me in my private moments. Help me to be the same person whether anyone is watching or not. Work on my heart behind closed doors so that what comes out in public is authentic. Amen.
