Day 3: Making Space for New Connections
Scripture:
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” – Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)

Reflection:
Sometimes we hold on so tightly to old friendships that we miss the new ones God is trying to bring into our lives. Maybe the mom you used to be close to has drifted. Or you’ve outgrown a friendship that no longer feels life-giving. That doesn’t make you a bad friend—it makes you human, and it may be part of God's pruning for new growth.

Motherhood is constantly shifting, and as your season changes, so might your circle. But new connections require space—emotional and practical. That means releasing resentment, letting go of comparison, and being willing to say yes to uncomfortable beginnings.

God may send you a friend who doesn't look like what you're used to. Stay open. You never know who He’s placed in your path to walk alongside you in this next stretch of your journey.

Prayer:
God, help me let go of friendships that no longer serve this season. Teach me to make space in my heart and my calendar for new relationships. Help me stay open to the new things You’re doing in my life—even when they come in unexpected packages.
