Power to Speak
When you picture boldness, what comes to mind? A loud voice? A fearless attitude? That’s not always what boldness looks like.
In Acts 4, the early believers faced serious threats. But instead of backing down, they prayed—and the place where they were meeting shook. Then something amazing happened: they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and boldly spoke the word of God.
That kind of boldness doesn’t come from hype or personality—it comes from the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t just live in you to make you feel something. He gives you the strength to do something:
- To share your faith
- To speak the truth in love
- To stand strong when it’s easier to stay silent.
Ask God for the kind of courage that only comes from the Spirit.
This week, look for one chance to speak up—maybe with a friend who’s struggling, someone who has questions, or just someone who needs encouragement. Then trust that the Spirit will help you speak with boldness and love.
