Disciple: Live the Life God Has You Called ToSample

Day 4: Carry the Cross
Discipleship will cost you something. Jesus said, “Take up your cross.” That means choosing surrender when it’s easier to self-protect. It means dying to our will and living for His.
The cross isn’t just a symbol of death—it’s a doorway to resurrection. On the other side of surrender is life. On the other side of sacrifice is freedom. When we carry our cross, we walk the same path Jesus walked—and we find the same power He carried.
Being a disciple means daily surrender, not one-time decisions. Our life isn’t our own. But when we give it to God, we find true life: bold, eternal, and full of purpose.
Reflective Question: What part of your life is God asking you to surrender so you can walk in resurrection power?
