Day 2: Discover Your True Voice

Scripture:
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 (NIV)

Reflection:
Have you ever felt like your voice doesn’t matter, or worried that if you speak up, no one will listen? The truth is, your voice is powerful. God gave you a voice for a reason—to shine, encourage, speak truth, and reflect His love in your own unique way.

You don’t have to sound like anyone else. Your ideas, your feelings, your dreams—they matter. Your voice can bring light into dark places. You can speak kindness where there’s hurt, truth where there’s confusion, and hope where someone feels lost.

So don’t stay silent out of fear. You were made to be heard.

Prayer:
Dear God,
Sometimes I hold back because I’m afraid of what others might think. But I know You gave me a voice for a reason. Help me to speak with boldness, love, and truth. Teach me to use my words to bring life, not harm. I want to shine for You in everything I say. Amen.

Challenge:
Choose one way to express yourself today:

• Write in your journal about something that matters to you.
• Create a poem, a drawing, or a song that shows what’s on your heart.
• Talk to a friend or mentor about something you care about.

Remember, your voice is a gift. Use it well.
