The Lord Your HealerSample

Day 2: Our Faith, His Will
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to know every prayer would result in a “yes” from God, especially concerning healing? Yet as we walk with Him, we learn that faith and His will work in harmony. This can be difficult to understand, but it can also deepen our trust in Him.
Faith and Healing
The Bible teaches that faith is vital in receiving healing. Jesus spoke of faith as small as a mustard seed having the power to move mountains. We are encouraged to believe without doubt and to ask boldly, trusting God’s ability to intervene.
At the same time, Scripture emphasizes aligning our prayers with His will. Abiding in Him, walking in obedience, and trusting His greater purposes are all part of that process.
Faith and God’s Will
Faith is powerful, yet it’s not about bending God’s will to match ours. It’s about aligning our hearts with His perfect plan for us. That’s the hard part: surrendering the outcome to His wisdom and timing. We may not always know God’s specific plan for every situation, but we can trust that He is good. When our faith in His power intersects with His perfect will, miracles can happen.
What Should We Do?
Keep praying. Keep asking. The Lord invites you to cast all your anxiety on Him, pour out your heart to Him, and ask for what you need and want. So, keep asking, dear one. Keep running to the Lord, pouring your heart out to Him. Keep trusting Him and making His strong and loving presence your refuge and strength.
He loves you with an overflowing love. He longs to comfort you and give you strength. He is a God who heals, and He tells us to ask. So, keep waiting on Him, keep discovering Him, and see what He will do for you.
Prayer
Lord, I bring my prayers to You in faith, trusting Your power and Your will. Help me to rest in Your love and to trust You through uncertainty. Teach me to abide in Your presence and find strength in Your unchanging goodness.
Encouragement
Dear one, keep running to God. He is your refuge and strength. His love never fails, and He is present with you in every moment. Trust Him to guide you, carry you, and work all things together for your good.
Matthew 13:58 NIV
And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.
Mark 10:52 NIV
“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
John 15:7, 10 TLV
“If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you. …If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.”
1 John 5:14–15 NIV
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.
1 Peter 5:7 NIV
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
Philippians 4:6–7 TLV
Do not be anxious about anything—but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the shalom of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua.
