Day 1: The Lord Your Healer

Illness, accidents, and pain can throw us into a world of worry and fear. When we or someone we love needs healing, we’re reminded of our human frailty and deep need for God. And He is right there with us, offering His love, compassion, and strength.

Jesus’ Healing Ministry

A big part of Jesus’ earthly ministry was healing. He restored limbs, eyesight, hearing, and speech. He cured chronic seizures, leprosy, and all kinds of sickness. He even raised people from the dead. These miracles didn’t just prove His power; they showed His heart for the hurting.

Does God Still Heal Today?

Yes, He does. In remote villages or urban hospitals, we continue to see God’s hand at work. While He may not always heal in ways that resemble biblical miracles, no medical condition is too complex for Him. Whether supernaturally or through modern medicine, His healing is always rooted in His perfect plan and unfailing love.

You are Worth Healing

While we may have no trouble understanding that God can and still heals supernaturally, we may feel unworthy of His miraculous intervention. The truth is, none of us deserve God’s favor, but He counts us worthy. You are of tremendous value to God, so much so that Yeshua (Jesus) died for you. God loves you with an unending love, and He cares about what you’re going through. His plans for you, even in suffering, are shaped by a love that never fails. He is for you.

Facing a Diagnosis

What are you to do when you’re staring down a dreaded diagnosis? Pour out your heart to Him, dear one. Ask Him for healing. He knows your situation, your fears, and every part of your body. He longs to walk with you through this. Trust Him with your struggles, and you will find peace for your journey toward healing.

Prayer

Lord, You see my need and You are my Healer. Please restore my body and strengthen my spirit. Help me to feel Your presence, trust in Your love, and take refuge in Your care.

Encouragement

No matter what you’re facing, God is with you. He loves you deeply and will never leave you. Draw near to Him today, and you will find peace and renewed strength in His compassionate care.
