EquipHer Vol. 25: "Flawed Is the New Flawless"Sample

DAY 5 – Living the Freedom
Over the past few days, we have explored three foundational truths: the power of relationships, which lifts and realigns us; the power of pressure, which shapes and prepares us; and the power of grace, which frees us from the burden of having to be perfect.
So now, we have to live each day boldly walking out the freedom of our faith in God.
Our rebirth in Christ was not just a spiritual shift—it was a release into freedom, into the fullness of who we were created to be.
The apostle Paul declares this powerfully: “For freedom, Christ set us free. Stand firm then and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1, CSB)
Every time we choose authenticity, every time we allow God to work through our flaws, every time we recognize our limitations and place the outcome in His hands…we are walking in freedom.
God’s purpose does not require us to become someone else. It requires us to walk with Him daily—in faith, in obedience, and with a willing heart.
Reflective Questions:
- Is there an area of your life where you have replaced freedom with the pressure of perfection?
- What is one tangible way you can choose to live in the freedom God has already given you today?
Prayer:
Lord, today I choose to walk in the freedom You have secured for me. Forgive me for all the times I have placed that yoke back on my shoulders, chasing after a perfection You never asked of me. I want to stop striving to earn what You have already given me by grace. I want to be free to serve You with all my heart, knowing that You will finish the work You started in me. Amen.
