No Pressure

DAY 14 OF 20

This is a powerful call to dedicate every aspect of our being to love God and to actively love others as we love ourselves, signifying a complete commitment to living a life aligned with God’s will, encompassing not just our emotions but also our thoughts, actions, and physical strength. It’s a reminder that true faith requires not only personal devotion but also outward expression through compassion and service towards others.

“Love the Lord your God... with all your soul” means we should love the Lord with our lives. Moment by moment for our whole lives. Not just on Sundays during church, not just on Christmas and Easter. And not just when we feel like it! Loving the Lord with all our “soul” means loving the Lord on good days and bad days and all days in between. It means having an eternal love affair with Him because of His extravagant love for us! Loving God with all our lives is not a wishy-washy love. Feelings do not control it. It’s a love born out of a decision and a choice. It’s a commitment to love God with and in every part of our lives! Jesus is calling us to love God with our lives.

About this Plan

No Pressure

We feel pressure at home, at work, within our families, and in our friendships. Pressure is part of being human. But what do we do with it? How do we handle the relentless weight without breaking down or burning out? What about God? What does He have to say about it, and does He even care? That’s what this series is all about—learning how to not only deal with the pressure, but to survive and thrive.
