Day 3: God Gives Peace

When was the last time your heart felt truly at Peace?

If you’re anything like me, Peace can sometimes feel like something just out of reach—something you’re grasping for in the middle of a stressful day, a hard conversation, or a season of uncertainty.

But here’s the beautiful truth: Jesus offers us a different kind of Peace. Not a peace that depends on our circumstances or everything going the way we hoped. Not a fragile, temporary peace that disappears when life gets hard. But His Peace. A peace that remains steady even when the world around us feels anything but.

Right before He faced the cross, Jesus comforted His disciples—and us—with these words. He knew fear would try to flood their hearts. He knew sorrow and confusion were just ahead. And yet, He lovingly reminded them: My Peace I give you. You don’t have to be afraid.

Sweet friend, that same promise is for you today, too.

No matter what you’re walking through, you don’t have to carry fear or let your heart be troubled. His Peace is your steady place to stand. His presence is your safe place to rest. Even when you don’t feel it right away, His Peace is already yours to receive.

So take a deep breath. Rest in His nearness. His Peace is stronger than any of your fears.

Jesus, thank You for Your Peace—a peace that this world can’t take away. When fear rises and my heart feels overwhelmed, help me turn to You. Quiet my spirit with Your love and fill me with the Peace only You can give. Amen.
