Reflection Thought:
You’ve read through the first half of Ephesians. In these chapters, Paul doesn’t give a single command. He’s not telling you what to do—he’s telling you what’s already been done. Before you do anything for Jesus, you need to know who you are because of Jesus. You were lost—cut off from God, isolated from others, and unsure of your purpose. But now, because of Jesus, you’ve been found. You are chosen. You are alive. You belong. You have purpose. Take some time today to look back at what you’ve read and reflect.
Questions:
- What’s one truth from the past five days that you needed to hear most?
- What’s one place in your life where you're still living like you're lost, even though you’ve been found?
- What would it look like to really live as someone who belongs to Jesus this week?
Key Verse to Remember:
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!" Ephesians 2:4-5 (NIV)

About this Plan

The book of Ephesians is a letter written by Paul while imprisoned in Rome. He wrote to encourage believers in Ephesus, a wealthy city known for trade and idol worship. These Christians had once been far from God but were now learning what it meant to be found in Him. Paul reminded them of their new identity in Christ and called them to live differently—treating others well, speaking kindly, obeying, and standing strong in faith through life’s challenges. Join us in this 14-day devotional as we unpack Ephesians and what it means to follow Jesus!
