I remember once receiving a simple text from a friend that said, “God hasn’t forgotten you.” It came during a tough week, and those words stuck with me for weeks. That’s the kind of timely encouragement Proverbs 25 talks about: beautiful, valuable, and unforgettable. We often underestimate how powerful our words can be when led by the Spirit.

Ask God to bring someone to mind who could use a word of encouragement or truth. Send them a message, write a note, or speak with them today. A small word in the right moment could be a lifeline for someone.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to speak words that heal, uplift, and bring life. Use me to be an encourager to those who need to hear Your heart today. Give me wisdom to know when to speak and the courage to do so in love. May my words reflect Your grace. Amen.
