HZY | BRP Week 1 - Introduction to FaithSample

Who Is Jesus?
As we look at the Bible, we can see that Jesus is described as fully God and fully man. In John 1, He is described as the Word. From before the beginning of time, He existed with God the Father (we will explain more about this in the next plan), and through the sound of His voice the world was created.
In John 14, Jesus describes Himself as the Way, the Truth and the Life. Again telling the people He was speaking to, that He was God and the only way to access the Father and receive salvation.
But because Jesus was also fully man, it means that the sacrifice He made for us is legit. He also understands what it means to be tempted to sin, yet He never did sin. It is because of this that He can sympathise with us and help us in our struggles, never abandoning us. He is standing with us, inviting us to come to Him for help and to receive His mercy.
