Do Not Be Anxious About Anything

DAY 30 OF 31

Ask For Help

Scripture:

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.
Isaiah 41:13 NIV

Reflection:

Moses was a giant of faith — a man who saw miracles, parted seas, and met with God face-to-face.

But even Moses couldn't do it alone.

He needed Aaron to speak for him, Hur to hold up his arms, and Jethro to help him lead wisely.

At every stage, God placed people around him, not as a sign of weakness, but as a gift of strength.

“Two are better than one… If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 NIV

Sometimes we think faith means being strong on our own. But often, it looks like receiving help, sharing the load, and allowing others, and God, to support us.

You weren’t made to carry it all alone. Even Moses wasn’t.

Journaling Prompt:

Where are you trying to carry something entirely by yourself? Surrender it to God, ask Him for His help and listen to what He says.

Are there people you need to be reaching out to?

Prayer:

Lord, take my hand. Walk with me through my anxious moments. Amen.

Practical Tip:

When you feel anxious, clench your fist and imagine God holding your hand. Let the tension go as you release your grip.

About this Plan

Do Not Be Anxious About Anything

With a world that can often feel unpredictable and chaotic, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and anxious. But we are called to live above the chaos, ruling and reigning in Christ. How do we surrender our anxiety? We need the Holy Spirit and the Truth of God's Word more than ever. Each day in this 31-Day Reading Plan will give you a scripture, reflection, prayer, practical tip, and guided question to help you process your thoughts and feelings. Take those thoughts captive and align your heart with Truth.
