Radically Restored: A 7 Day Mental Health RevivalSample

Living Full of Gratitude
A daily discipline that helps me to continue to grow is simply the appreciation for the goodness of God in my life. To feel great by being grateful. Going through in times of prayer and simply thanking God for what I have, where my life is, what is exciting in it, family, job, health, etc. Recognizing His faithfulness allows me to have courage knowing and remembering how He has shown up faithful on my behalf time and time again. I think most of us are truly more blessed than we give Him credit for and its so refreshing to praise Him for all His good gifts.
The Bible says that we enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise and by coming to The Lord from a place of honoring Him I can sense His presence deeper and that allows my ears to be ready to receive His Word and my eyes to be ready to see what He is calling me to.
Another big one for me lately is taking trust from a place of being passive to active. Saying I trust the Lord means it should show up in how I live. Because I trust that God has a beautiful plan for my life I will act like it is so. Because I trust that He is my ever present help in times of trouble I will act like it is so. Because I can cast all my anxiety on Him because He cares for me I will truly let it go and act like it is so. The example of how Jesus walked and fulfilled the call to redeem and restore mankind is so incredible and His call to us is to follow Him.
It is a daily journey to do just that, so be encouraged each day by getting your daily bread which is the Word of God. His Word will shape our world when we are lead by it. God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, so try consecrating time each day to be present with Him, thankful for Him, and expectant for how He wants to use us in this world.
God bless you!
