Heart for the House Sample

When God offered Solomon anything, he didn’t ask for wealth, power, or comfort — he asked for wisdom. Solomon knew that building something great required more than just resources; it required God’s guidance. In our lives, generosity isn’t just about giving money, it’s about stewarding what God gives us wisely. When we seek first His wisdom, we position ourselves to build something that lasts.
Before asking God for more, ask Him for wisdom. In what area of your life do you need His guidance so you can be generous and build His kingdom well?
Prayer:
God, I want to build something that honours You. Give me wisdom in my finances, my time, and my decisions so that I can be generous in a way that reflects Your heart. Amen.

About this Plan

David was able to set the stage for Solomon to build the temple by providing the victories for Solomon to have peace in the land, provision, and a launch pad for the new season to come. There are lessons in this for us today! For our future generations to see victory, it will take us fighting the battles now, and generously supporting God's plans to come! Join us through 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles and be inspired by how you can be setting the next generation up for victory.
