HE HAS A GOOD PLAN FOR ME

God’s plan for you is wonderful, even when your circumstances might not be.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, ‘For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’

The Bible is full of stories about people in difficult situations, but God was always with them and helped them. Even when you are in the middle of trouble, God wants you to experience His peace and joy. You can be confident that He works everything together for your good.

There’s a story in the Old Testament about a young man named Daniel who was put in a lion’s den for disobeying orders not to pray. Even in the lion’s den, God’s good plans for Daniel did not change. God sent His angels to shut the mouths of the lions so they could not harm Daniel.

In another story, three young men named Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were put in a fiery pit, also for disobeying the king’s orders. They refused to bow down to an image of him. When the king looked into the fire, there were not three men, but a fourth man was with them! He is believed to be an angel or the Son of God Himself! When they came out, they were not burned, and their clothes didn’t even smell like smoke.

No matter what has happened to you or what you are going through right now, believe in your heart that God is with you. Nothing and no one can change His good plans for your life.

Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you that you have good plans for me. Even when things are difficult, I can trust you. Lord, you see the path ahead when I cannot. No matter what things might look like, I believe you are working it out for my good. I declare that your blessings are following me and are chasing me down today.
