Inspiring Others
Have you ever learned something cool that you couldn’t wait to tell your family and friends about? Maybe it was a new game, a funny joke, or some good news you got at school. When we learn something exciting and important, we can’t wait to share it with others!
In the story, Zion learns a lot from her visit to the community center and decides to share it with her friends at school.
On Monday, Zion told her whole class about the people she met at the community center.
And then she shared her idea. “Since some people without houses need blankets, coats, and socks, I was thinking that our class could collect those things and share.” Her classmates cheered—they were eager to get started!
Though it might have felt scary for Zion to get up in front of her class and share what she learned, she did it! Sharing our ideas for how to serve our communities and to encourage our friends to show God’s love to others is important.
Do you think you could be brave like Zion?
What have you learned that you can share with others?
Prayer:
"Dear God, thank you for teaching us important things! Help us to be brave in sharing what we’ve learned with others. Help us to encourage others to take action and show God’s love to everyone."
Activity:
Being Brave!
Draw a superhero cape on a piece of paper. On the cape, write down some things you’ve learned that you can share with others. Then, write down the names of three people you can share those things with.
