Power On!Sample

When the people of Jerusalem were rebuilding the city walls, they faced intense persecution. Despite this, the word says that they worked with "all their heart"; through mockery, discouragement, and threats, they continued to persevere!
Nehemiah 4 can show us the power of determination, even when the obstacles in front of us are intimidating or looking unconquerable.
Whether in our relationships, work, or ministry, it is easy to be discouraged, but Nehemiah shows us that with God, He can give us the strength to persevere and overcome.
If you are facing discouragement today, take a moment and press into God for His strength and encouragement. He will help you finish well!
Prayer:
Lord, give me the strength to persevere in the face of insurmountable challenges. Help me to focus on the purpose You have put before me and light my path forward. Amen.

About this Plan

With Jesus, we want to go from "standing by" to stepping out! Through these readings, experience stories of when God led people to turn "on" their spiritual power and saw the Holy Spirit move through them. God is ready to do miracles on Earth, but we can miss out on what He is ready to do by staying in the boat like Peter nearly did. These Scriptures will encourage you to step out of the boat and see the Power of the Holy Spirit move!
