S: Scripture

If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then summarize it in your own words.

O: Observation

A: Application

What do you think it looks like to just go through the motions of helping others? What does this passage encourage us to do instead?

How can learning more about a cause or issue better prepare you to provide help?

Who's someone—or a group—that might feel alone or overlooked that you could show up for?

P: Prayer

Spend some time in prayer asking God to shape your heart to see and feel for the people God cares about. Ask for help in better understanding the issues they face and for the compassion to show them you care. Then, say thank you that God cares for and loves each of us uniquely.
