Pathways to PurposeSample

When David was furious with Nabal's insult, Abigail stepped in with wisdom and humility. Instead of reacting in anger with her husband or the situation, she chose to seek peace. Her wise words calmed a King (David), preventing him from making a rash decision. Like Abigail, we often face moments where we can either escalate conflict or bring peace. Reacting in frustration is easy, but choosing wisdom requires trust in God.
When tensions rise today, pause before responding. Ask yourself, "How can I be a peacemaker in this situation?"
A kind word or a calm response can change everything.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to respond with wisdom, not anger. Give me a heart like Abigail's; one that seeks peace and trusts You in every situation. Amen.
