LifeSample

Yesterday, we talked about how God breathed life into man. Before, disobedience brought death into the world, not only physically, but also spiritually. Since then, man has lived separated from the source of strength that every life needs.
Do you see the parallel? God breathes life into Adam. Disobedience brings death to him and his descendants. As the Son of God hangs on the cross, he breathes his last. In doing so, he breathed new life into humanity, which was previously dead to God. He brings them back into connection with God. Through his death and resurrection, Jesus becomes the way to life. The prerequisite for real life is that you also walk the path. The decision is up to you. Will you accept Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life?
God did not leave it at that. He planned to restore the connection to us humans with the greatest rescue plan of all time. John says it like this: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The Son of God had to give his life to pay the debt that every human being owes. And that is precisely what happens. As Jesus is nailed to the cross, he breathes his last with the words: “It is finished.” Then he dies. From that moment on, a new path connects man with his Creator.
