Encouraged by Andrew's response, Vanessa decided to be more direct. She invited him for coffee, "just to talk." Andrew knew he should refuse, but found himself saying yes.

On the day of the meeting, Andrew was nervous. Part of him was excited, eager to see Vanessa. Another part was terrified of what might happen.

As he prepared to leave, he saw Rachel cradling their youngest daughter, singing softly. The scene hit him like lightning. What was he about to do?

Trembling, Andrew fell to his knees right there. "Lord," he prayed, tears streaming down his face, "I am weak. I'm on the brink of sin. Please give me strength. Put a hedge of thorns around me. I can't do this alone."
