Risen with Christ
Reflect:
Being raised with Christ means that our perspective and priorities must shift. No longer should our focus be solely on earthly matters, but on the things of God. Paul reminds us that our spiritual resurrection should lead to a life that seeks after God’s kingdom, His righteousness, and His eternal purposes.
Setting our minds on things above doesn’t mean ignoring the realities of life but instead approaching them with a heavenly perspective. It means living with the understanding that our citizenship is in heaven, and our ultimate goal is to glorify God in everything we do.
As Gospel partners, we encourage one another to keep our focus on God. When the world distracts us, we remind each other of the greater mission—living for Christ and advancing His kingdom.
Respond:
Take a moment to evaluate where your focus has been. Have you been consumed by earthly worries or distractions? Ask God to help you set your mind on things above and to align your priorities with His.
Pray for your Gospel partners, that together you may encourage one another to keep your eyes on Christ and live with eternity in mind.
