The First Christmas Gift: Hope in Jesus (Bible App for Kids)Sample

Let’s go on a Bible Adventure!
Marty and Shine are ready to start a Bible Adventure with us! We will answer this big question: “What is the best thing to hope for?”
The answer is, “Jesus is my best hope!”
Let’s say that answer together! “Jesus is my best hope!”
Now, let’s find out which Picture Passes we need for our Bible Adventure!
Let’s watch!
Let’s talk!
·Which Picture Passes did Marty pack in his Adventure Bag?
·What do you think Marty will do with all those Picture Passes?
Let’s read the Bible!
We get to learn a very special Bible verse—1 Peter 1:3 from the New International Reader’s Version of the Bible. Let’s say it together with motions, then read it in the Bible!
1 Peter 1:3 (Open your hands like a book.)
He [That’s God!](Point upward, then hold hand by mouth like you’re whispering.)
Has given us [That’s us!](Hold hands in front of you, palms up.)
a new birth (Pretend to rock a baby in your arms.)
and a living hope. ... (Hold hands up in front of you, turned toward one another. Bend fingers twice, like waving.)
Pray Together
Dear God, thank You for giving Jesus to all of us. He is always with me. And He is my living hope! Help me to always put my hope in Him. In Jesus’ name, amen.
