Who are you?
"What is God's will for my life?" One of the ways we can answer this question is by asking another question: Who are you? Who you are can go a long way in uncovering the Lord's specific plan and purpose for you.
Take the Apostle Paul for example. Here was someone who had been born with an active and alert mind. He also had the benefit of being born into a Jewish bloodline that entitled him to be tutored under some of the greatest minds of the ancient world. His brain became a treasury of scriptural knowledge...and all of it was preparing him to be used by God in ways he never could have imagined.
Paul was the perfect person to take the Hebrew scriptures and show how they were actually pointing to Jesus. His passion to learn and his years of training were put to good use for the Body of Christ, as Paul became its foremost theologian.
The person that Paul was served as an indicator of God's will for him. It was the Lord who put him together in his mother's womb and gave him the traits that would become so instrumental down the road. God used something very natural, Paul's personality and giftedness, to do something very supernatural.
So who are you? How has God put you together? What traits has God planted inside you? What's your wiring? The answers probably point towards God's will for your life. If you're five feet-three inches tall, it's probably not His will that you play in the NBA. But if you're a great communicator and love kids, He might want to use you as a teacher.
The point is simply this: Your natural interests and personality will often point you to the supernatural path and purpose God has for you.

Think about it...
What does this passage reveal to me about God?
What does this passage reveal to me about myself?
Based on this, what changes do I need to make?
What is my prayer for today?
