Permission GrantedSample

Whether you have siblings who drive you crazy, a parent who frustrates you, or an extended family that you would rather avoid, we have a call from God to take care of those around us. As you grow older you get more opportunities to live this out. What are some ways you practice looking out for others at home today? You may not be able to provide financially for your family yet, but you can provide your time, your energy, your kindness, and, wait for it…your presence. Rather than escaping to be by yourself and to get away from your “annoying” family, you have an opportunity to serve them by simply being with them. It might be difficult, but learning to practice this at your age can help you unlock the more and better life that Jesus wants for you. Try asking God if he can help your mind and your emotions to provide your family with something good this week.
