Wouldn’t it be awesome to have total freedom—no rules, staying up all night, eating whatever you want, and doing anything you feel like? At first, that might sound fun, but would that make life better?
Jesus talks about a different kind of freedom—not just doing whatever we want, but being free from things that hold us back, like fear, bad choices, or selfishness. Real freedom isn’t about ignoring responsibility; it’s about having the power to do what’s right and choosing to do it. When we follow Jesus, we’re free to love others, make good choices, and have a real impact on the world.
Make a quick list of areas in your life where you get to make your own choices—like how you treat people, what you say, or how you spend your free time. Then, think about one way you can use that freedom to help someone else today.
