You Can!Sample

Did you know that hummingbirds beat their wings 70 times per second? If you’ve seen one in person, their wings move so fast they look like a blur. Knowing they go that fast, it’s wild to think that they can stop and hover in midair.
When life gets overwhelming, we often try to hold it together on the outside while our minds race at full speed. But this verse reminds us that we don’t have to do that. Stopping isn’t failure. It’s an invitation to trust that we don’t have to have everything figured out. This psalm invites us not just to stop, but also to trust that God is God and that God is with us.
This week, find a friend and agree to check in with each other weekly. Remind each other to take a break when life feels overwhelming.
