Scripture: Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…”

The journey of a Spirit-filled leader begins with a divine calling and empowerment by the Holy Spirit. When Jesus sent His disciples, He didn’t simply ask them to go and teach; He called them to wait for the power of the Holy Spirit. Leadership in Christ isn’t about our personal abilities but about yielding to the Holy Spirit’s strength, which equips us for every task. As we allow the Spirit to lead us, we become His witnesses and are equipped to carry out God’s will with boldness and clarity.

A Spirit-filled leader trusts that the Holy Spirit will guide and empower them every step of the way. It’s not by our own efforts that we succeed but by His power working within us. As you reflect on your leadership role, ask yourself: are you leaning into the Spirit’s power for your strength or relying solely on your own resources?

Reflection: Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to empower your leadership? What areas of your leadership do you need to surrender to Him for His strength?

Prayer: Holy Spirit, I surrender to You today. Empower me to lead with Your wisdom and strength, and help me to depend on You alone for the tasks ahead. May I never lead from my own understanding, but from Your guidance.
