Understanding God`s Word - Week 3Sample

Day 3: Serving Others
Scripture: Mark 10:45 - "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
Reflection:
Jesus came to serve, not to be served. How can we follow His example by serving others today?
Serving others means putting the needs of others before our own. It means looking for ways to help and support those around us, whether through acts of kindness, words of encouragement, or practical assistance. It means being willing to sacrifice our time, energy, and resources for the benefit of others.
When we serve others, we reflect the heart of Christ. Jesus demonstrated His love for us by serving us, ultimately giving His life for our salvation. As we follow His example, we bring His love and compassion into the world, making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, teach us to be servants like you. Help us to put the needs of others before our own and to serve them with humility and love. Amen.
Application:
- Look for Opportunities: Look for opportunities to serve others, whether in your family, community, or workplace.
- Put Others First: Make a conscious effort to put the needs of others before your own, reflecting the servant heart of Jesus.
- Serve with Love: Serve others with humility and love, knowing that you are reflecting the love of Christ in all that you do.
