Day 1: Love in Action

Scripture: 1 John 3:18 - "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."

Reflection:

Love is more than just words; it's about demonstrating our love through practical actions. It's easy to say we love someone, but true love is shown through our deeds. How can we show love to those around us today?

Loving in action means being intentional about meeting the needs of others. It could be as simple as helping a neighbor with groceries, volunteering at a local shelter, or spending quality time with a friend who is going through a tough time. It means looking beyond ourselves and seeing the needs of others, then taking steps to address those needs.

When we love in action, we reflect the love of Christ. Jesus didn't just talk about love; He demonstrated it by laying down His life for us. As we follow His example, we bring His love into the world, making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us.

Prayer: Lord, help us to love others with actions and in truth. Show us practical ways to demonstrate your love to those around us. Amen.

Application:
