Seeing the Minor ProphetsSample

Amos - God’s Prophet of Justice
Amos warns the northern kingdom of Israel that despite their lavish, pious worship ceremonies they stand under God’s judgement for brutally abusing and enslaving the poor. The longed-for ‘Day of the Lord’ will consequently be a day of destruction.
How do we ‘let justice roll like a river’ so that the ‘Day of the Lord’ will not be one of devastation, but instead one of joy when we hear ‘well done good and faithful servant’?
