Someone Else's WorldSample

"...you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world..." Ephesians 2:1 ESV
There is a battle to claim the image bearers from the kingdom of light and darkness. The fight is in and for our minds. The kingdom of darkness wants to raise one thought that opposes the Truth of God. The administrator of darkness is less preoccupied with making us miserable and more concerned about us distrusting Our Father.
The enemy will leverage anything to get us away from the Truth of God.
The devil is "the prince of the power of the air." If you look into the Greek, the air that is talked about refers to the "inanimate movement of air."
A good example of this movement would be...sound.
From Jesus, we have the mouth/word of Truth.
From the devil, we have the mouth/word of deception.
So, whose mouth are you watching? What "sounds" are you listening to?
I can be played to hear something. The enemy knows what harmonics can distract you from the voice of Truth. The enemy knows how to undermine any thought you have towards God.
The devil's end game is not anxiety, it's beliefs like this:
- God is not in control.
- God can't be trusted.
- I am alone.
THINK ABOUT IT:
1. Whose mouth are you watching? What "sounds" are you listening to? Is it from the Kingdom of darkness or a Kingdom of light?
2. What entry points does the Kingdom of Darkness have on your life? i.e. entertainment
PRAYER PROMPT:
Father, expose the kingdom of darkness in my life.

About this Plan

What if we traded our little worlds for the Eternal Kingdom, now and to come? Walk with us, line by line, through the Lord's Prayer as we begin to release our grip on how we think we should live and embrace how Jesus wants us to live.
