Journey With Jesus 365Sample

Jesus never excused those who struggled to follow Him. He made it clear that to follow Him, meant that He set the direction, and we are to follow. Unfortunately, we often try to convince ourselves that maybe God does not want us to inconvenience ourselves to do something for Him. Jesus often told His disciples to go elsewhere even though they were currently having success at the time. Peter had the greatest fishing catch of his life when Jesus asked him to leave everything and follow Him. Philip was enjoying success as an evangelist when the Holy Spirit led him to the desert.
Success in our own eyes can hold us back from doing God’s perfect will for our lives. Wherever Jesus leads you, be prepared to follow, no matter how successful you may think you are.
