A Year in Luke/ActsSample

The resurrection of Jesus was not just a happy ending after death, it offers a way of seeing the world that affirms the initial good creation, and a perfected new creation to come.
“Everything Paul has been doing, up to and including this last trip to Jerusalem, has been out of loyalty to Israel's God, and out of the consequent hope for resurrection. (As we've seen before, resurrection is where you get to theologically if you believe in God as the good Creator and in God's purpose to put all things right at the end.) All this means that following Jesus wasn't so much a new religion as the unveiling of a new reality. But you wouldn't expect a Roman magistrate to see that point, any more than a Greek philosopher. Or, sadly, a zealous Jerusalem mob.” (NT Wright, p136, The Challenge of Acts)
In light of the resurrection, what do you now see?
