God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 2)Sample

Hebrews (1) – Day 3
To the original audience of the Book of Hebrews, Moses was a revered hero. By explaining Jesus’s Supremacy over Moses, the author of Hebrews is pointing out the Supremacy of Christ over even the most respected leaders.
It seems like every day there is another news story about a pastor or Christian leader leaving ministry because of a moral failing. As a result, many people have left the Church. When we place our faith in people instead of God, we will always be let down. It’s easy to fall into the trap of hero worship, but when we see an inspirational Christian, we should be reminded of how Great God is, not how great they are.
Make a list of the people you look up to. Instead of idolizing them, thank God for giving them gifts and talents and using them for His Glory.
