God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 2)Sample

Hebrews (1)– Day 2
Why would the One who made the Angels willingly stoop low enough to place Himself below them? Why would the One who created Life itself freely take on death? Why would an All-Powerful God take on flesh and dwell among broken people?
It confounds logic, yet it can be answered with a single word: Love. It was Love that motivated Jesus to offer Himself as a Sacrifice on our behalf. It was Love that kept Him from calling down a cavalry of Angels to pull Him off the Cross during the Crucifixion. The more we understand the Glory and Majesty of Christ, the more we understand the depth of His Sacrifice!
We must never forget we serve a God who would take on the sin of Humankind to bring Redemption to the world He loves. As we look to the Cross, let’s remember the Love that led Him there!
