Vote With Vision: Praying God’s Will Over ElectionsSample

Day 4: Praying for Government Leaders and Authorities
Bible Verse: 1 Timothy 2:1-2 – “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
Reflection: Regardless of who wins the election, believers are called to pray for their leaders. Pray that God would guide those in authority, filling them with wisdom and compassion.
Prayer Prompt: “Lord, I pray for our current and future leaders and diplomats. Grant them wisdom, compassion, and courage to lead in ways that bring peace and justice.”
Action: Take a few minutes to pray for current leaders, even those you may not agree with, asking God to guide their hearts toward justice and humility.

About this Plan

Our 5-day Bible plan is focused on active citizenship, voting, and praying for leaders. This plan encourages believers to approach voting as an opportunity to act as ambassadors for Christ, seeking God’s wisdom in choosing candidates who align with scriptural values and praying for leaders and nations.
