Preparing for ChristmasSample

Mary journeyed to Bethlehem, heavily pregnant and enduring a difficult path. It was uncomfortable and challenging. But God had placed a calling on her life. In the same way, God often calls us to step out in obedience, even when it feels uncertain or inconvenient. The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness, interceding on our behalf when we’re unsure of what to pray or how to move forward. With Christmas only a few days away, is God asking you to step into any places of uncomfortable obedience?

About this Plan

This 25-day Advent devotional was created from CornerstoneSF's video devotional series, Rise & Shine. With videos every day except Sundays, this devotional invites us to open our hearts and prepare for the coming of Jesus. It will begin broadly and then focus deeply on Mary’s experience, highlighting how her humility, faith, and openness paved the way for Christ’s birth. Through her example, we are encouraged to cultivate a heart ready to receive the Savior, embracing His love and presence in our lives.
