Psalm 100 emphasizes worshiping the Lord by thanking Him and blessing His name (v. 4). Ephesians 4:29 says, "no foul language should come from your mouth.” You cannot fully give God glory when you’re living in sin, so the best way to cease unwholesome talk is by replacing bitterness, anger, wrath, shouting, and slander (see Eph. 4:31) with rightful worship of God. When we do this, we fight evil habits with righteousness.
