Jonah said, “When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord.” We often take God for granted when things are going well, but when we lose hope, we cry out to Him. God longs for us, as His children, to have a consistent relationship with Him, in good and bad times. When we walk with the Lord during the good times, His Spirit and strength through us can give us the spiritual courage and strength to make it through the bad times.

About this Plan

Jonah is a somewhat unique book because rather than focusing on Jonah's message, it focuses on his own story. In an age where many are deconstructing or questioning their faith because of perceiving God to be too strict, harsh, or un-loving (especially in the Old Testament), Jonah’s story stands as an example of God’s great love for humanity and redemptive purpose for the salvation of the whole world.
