God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Philippians – Day 2
Are you scared of death? Most people are. Christians have been promised eternal life, but death can still be frightening. God doesn’t want us to be afraid. He desires to give us the same peace He gave Paul, who said, “to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
Paul understood that every second we are on Earth is an opportunity to represent Jesus. He also understood that, in death, we gain the greatest gift - a joy-filled eternity with God. We’ve all been given a finite amount of time, and we don’t know when our time will be up. This is a sobering thought, but it should empower us to live boldly for Jesus and look forward to eternity with Him. Pray for the peace to say, “To live is Christ and to die is gain.”
