God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Acts: Week 3 – Day 3
When Gentiles started believing in Jesus and receiving the Holy Spirit, many Jewish followers of Christ felt the Gentiles needed to be circumcised and converted to Judaism to be saved. But Peter spoke clearly on the matter- nothing any human could do would ever be enough—or a requirement—for salvation. Only the death and resurrection of Jesus can redeem us and bring us back to relationship with God.
The Gentiles didn’t have to meet any standard before receiving forgiveness. You and I didn’t have to clean ourselves up before Jesus died for us. Our neighbors, friends, and family don’t have to fit our image of churchgoers before we can share the gospel. Jesus Christ alone paid the complete price for anyone who wants to live forever with the Father.
