God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Romans: Week 1 – Day 2
We could never clean ourselves enough to be worthy of God’s holy presence, and he’s not waiting around for us to try. Jesus died first. Not for the good, sinless, perfect people, but for the dirty, sinful, mistake-makers like me and you.
But wait! There’s more! Now that we’ve accepted his gift of forgiveness, he doesn’t expect us to get our act together and be perfect. Again, he knows we’re still fallible humans. So where there is more sin, he provides more grace. Stop where you are and thank him for what he’s done and continues to do.
