God Desires To Meet Our Needs

It is God’s desire to be our means of support.  He desires that we strive in business and that our businesses provide sufficiently so that we can take care of our families and those who work for us.

Not only does God desire to satisfy our physical needs (food, clothes, and shelter), but He also desires to satisfy our emotional needs (love, joy, and peace).  God has only good things in store for us.  In Him we have all we need.

God has a longing to fulfil our every need, which is why He gave us Jesus.  Jesus came to show us the way to the abundant life.  He told His followers that He was the true bread.  He said, “I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never thirst” (John 6:35).  Jesus tells us this because He wants to sustain us in this life.

When we seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness, God will provide for us in ways we cannot imagine.  He will supply all our needs (and then some) if we will let Him do it.
