Jesus gave his disciples an instruction—tell everyone. And that’s what they did. At the time Jesus was arrested, fear sent them running and caused Peter to deny even knowing Jesus. But in the wake of his resurrection, those same disciples didn’t fear anymore. They had a God who conquered death—what could mere men do to them?
So what’s preventing us from sharing the gospel with everyone we meet? Whether we’re nervous about what others will think of us, feeling like we’re not equipped for the task, or just plain busy, we have a God who conquered death. Nerves, equipment, and schedules can’t stand up against that. Let’s get up and start sharing our Savior with the people around us who so desperately need him.
