What is the structure of Ezekiel 40-48?
Today we live in the church age. It began on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 and will end with the Rapture. Daniel 9:24-27 gives us the amazing prophecy of the seventy weeks of Daniel. It shows that the Antichrist will make a covenant with Israel for seven years. The signing of that covenant commences the Tribulation, as is recorded in Revelation 6-19. At the end of that period Jesus Christ returns to the earth (Revelation 19:11-21). Jesus' Second Coming is to defeat His enemies gathered at Armageddon and to establish the millennial kingdom as described in Revelation 20. Ezekiel's Temple is built for that period of time.
